The Campus Workflow Suite allows districts to enhance attendance taking with Advanced Attendance & Appointments, digitize hall pass procedures with Hall Pass, and establish events with triggers for automatic notifications through Events & Actions. These tools seamlessly integrate with Campus SIS, saving valuable time for districts.
Tool improves attendance accuracy and efficiency by letting school staff know when and where students are in the building. By eliminating manual attendance taking, teachers can spend more time teaching.
Attendance
Students are absent until they scan in as present or tardy (if pre-determined tardy threshold is exceeded). Scanners can be attended or unattended.
Check-in/Out
Launch attended kiosks and let students scan to print a pass; they’re automatically marked as tardy.
Absence Requests
Parents submit absence requests via the Parent Portal or Mobile App; staff review and process requests to automatically update attendance.
Counselor/Nurse Visits
Launch unattended kiosks to let students schedule time with a counselor or nurse.
Detention Status
An attended kiosk lets students scan in and out of detention and tracks their progress.
Custom Scanning Locations
Students and staff can scan into district-defined locations for tracking.
Hall Pass allows digital passes to be accessible through Campus Student Mobile App. This not only reduces paper, but also makes it easy for students to request and carry their passes. In addition, hall monitors can track who is allowed in the hallways at any given moment.
Hall Pass Restricted Student Groups
Create groups for students who should not have contact with each other in the hallway. This prevents teachers and students from requesting or issuing hall passes to others in the same group.
Transparency/ Hall Pass Groups
Generate hall passes for designated areas. Hall monitors can monitor the individuals permitted or restricted in the hallway and easily identify the designated location specified on the pass.
Promotes Accountability
Staff members can issue passes with defined durations based on specific needs so student movements are purposeful and monitored.
Emergency Response
In the event of an emergency, digital hall pass data can be crucial for quickly determining the location of students within the school.
Reporting
Generate reports on student movements, which can be useful to see trends for parent-teacher conferences.
Tool allows Campus users to set up events important in their daily operations and define whom to notify when they occur and/or what needs to happen next. Actions following a triggering event can include:
New Student Enrollment
For districts with a centralized registration office, staff can be notified when new students are enrolled in their building.
Special Ed Status
Special Ed Admins are alerted when a student’s Special Ed Status changes to Yes, accelerating the creation of an Individualized Education Plan.
Scheduling and Grading
Teachers get notified when students are scheduled into their classes and when their grading window is opened or closed.
Homeless Notification
Counselors get notified when a student is marked homeless.
Automate Manual Tasks
Automate the creation and population of forms, plans, or data records when the prerequisite data is entered into the system.
The presenter conducted the demo at a nice pace so that everyone was able to ask questions and take notes. Also, it was very informative with the new features on Infinite Campus.
Rutland School District, South Dakota
We love the Campus Workflow Suite! It allows us to put time back into the classroom and students back in their seats. Efficiency and security are the two biggest suite benefits; the added security is definitely a feature we’ve been looking for. Between the integration with Infinite Campus and eliminating the expense of a third-party system, our cost savings are astronomical!
