Accessibility

Last Modified: 2024-3-28

Infinite Campus is committed to transforming the K12 education system. Part of that transformation is to ensure accessibility for all people. We are continuously working to build relevant accessibility standards for our products as we strive to improve the user experience for all individuals.

Measures to Support Accessibility

We have implemented the following accessibility measures at Infinite Campus:

  • Inclusion of accessibility throughout our product development process;

  • Alternative text for images and non-text content in our products;

  • Keyboard navigation support;

  • Clear and consistent website structure and navigation;

  • Appropriate contrast ratios for text and background elements;

  • Form fields with proper labels and instructions;

  • Responsive design for different screen sizes and devices; and

  • Providing continual accessibility training to our staff.

Conformance Status

We are continuously working to ensure that our products comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as well as Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which outlines best practices for making web content more accessible to individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to meet Level AA standards of the WCAG.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We employ both internal and external audit practices to evaluate and remediate areas of our applications.

Accessibility Roadmap

We are actively working on an accessibility roadmap to continue identifying and addressing any accessibility gaps within our products. Our plan includes:

  1. Conducting accessibility audits and assessments to identify specific areas that need improvement;

  2. Prioritizing updates based on the severity of accessibility barriers and user impact;

  3. Implementing accessible design principles and development practices in all new features and updates; and

  4. Providing accessibility training and resources for our development teams to ensure ongoing compliance efforts.
