Hayward Unified School District, California, Chooses Infinite Campus
March 7, 2014 – Blaine, Minn. – Hayward Unified School District (HUSD), serving more than 21,000 students, has selected Infinite Campus as its district-wide student information system (SIS). HUSD was looking for a long-term, reliable company with a vision for the future. They wanted a company that invests in product development and offers exemplary service and support. After an extensive review and demonstrations from four vendors, Infinite Campus was selected because of its innovative product, corporate stability and commitment to customer service.
Our current SIS vendor went out of business just after the district implemented the system several years ago. We chose Infinite Campus for two primary reasons. The first was because it is the largest American-owned provider of K12 student information systems. We knew that Infinite Campus was a very stable company committed to K12 education. Second, after our RFP committee viewed full-day demonstrations from four different vendors, it was clear that Infinite Campus was the superior system and the best fit for HUSD,” says Alan Pickering-Walters, HUSD Teacher on Special Assignment/Lead for Infinite Campus SIS.
In addition to choosing the SIS, HUSD maximized their investment by
purchasing Campus Messenger with Voice and Campus Food Service. The
addition of this functionality eliminates third-party vendors and
enhances the functionality of the core SIS to save HUSD time and money.
Messenger with Voice sends general or emergency notifications via email,
phone or text messaging within minutes. Food Service simplifies
cafeteria operations when establishing food service accounts, tracking
food purchases and designing flexible menu layouts. And these are fully
integrated with the SIS, to ensure real-time, accurate information is
always available. Infinite Campus: One System, One Solution.
“We are pleased that HUSD chose Infinite Campus. We are one of the most
well-established K12 technology companies in the nation,” says Ashton
Faires, Campus Senior Sales Manager. “Led by the same CEO since its
founding, Infinite Campus has more than 20 years of experience
supporting customers and developing product enhancements that keep
customers current.”
Over
the last two years, when districts in California have included
demonstrations of Infinite Campus in their RFP selection process,
Infinite Campus has been awarded every contract. HUSD joins the growing
number of districts who have selected Infinite Campus for their SIS.
HUSD can expect to see immediate results after their go-live date of July 2014. They will have access to award-winning support, active user groups and personalized attention from a Campus Client Executive based in California.
