Columbia Public Schools, Missouri, Selects Infinite Campus
May 31, 2022 – Blaine, Minn. – Infinite Campus was selected by Columbia Public Schools (CPS) as its student information system (SIS) for enhanced functionality and ease of use. CPS purchased the Infinite Campus SIS through the company’s Colorado-based channel partner, Computer Information Concepts (CIC). CPS issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) in late 2021 for a SIS with the core purposes to store, schedule, and report student data to the state. CPS uses Tableau data visualization software to analyze and understand SIS data and was pleased to learn how well Tableau integrates with Infinite Campus using CIC’s Analysis Portal content and related applications.
CIC/Infinite Campus met all requirements and needs of the district. Over 60 staff and teachers participated in two software demonstrations, learning about the system's features and functionality. The overwhelming majority of participants rated Infinite Campus as exceeding expectations. The purchase of Infinite Campus will provide a robust, reliable, and flexible system to meet the needs of all CPS constituents: staff, teachers, students, and families.

- “Honestly.... everything. The demonstrations really showed how antiquated our current SIS is and how many resources are going into multiple programs and workarounds and mundane tasks that could be streamlined. The savings in ‘person time’ is amazing.”

Infinite Campus is replacing the district's current student information system (eSchoolPlus, Teacher Access Center for teachers, and Home Access Center for students and families) and several related systems.
