Pennsylvania’s Berks County Intermediate Unit Partners with Infinite Campus
May 11, 2017 – Blaine, Minn. – Infinite Campus and Pennsylvania’s Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU) announced their new strategic partnership to provide training and support services to Pennsylvania school districts. Infinite Campus customers will now have the option of receiving customized support from BCIU’s team of applications specialists, leveraging that team’s familiarity and knowledge of PA state reporting mandates and local requirements.
“We are excited to partner with BCIU, a leading and well-respected educational service agency,” said Dave Noles, Partner Alliance Manager at Infinite Campus. “Pennsylvania school districts will benefit from this local partnership through access to additional resources.”
BCIU is a regional ESA with more than 20 years of experience in the implementation and support of SIS, Special Education, Financial, and Tax systems across the eastern region of Pennsylvania; delivering services to more than 50 districts and municipalities. Ashton Faires, Strategic Market Development at Infinite Campus, said districts will benefit from having access to a comprehensive student information system backed by proven, local support and expertise.
“We are very pleased that BCIU has joined our growing base of ESA partner organizations that provide value to our customers at the local level,” said Faires. “Berks IU is committed to partnering with the best companies and the best systems available for its member districts. PA districts now have two great options for local support with Berks IU and our long-standing PA partner, Custom Computer Specialists.”
Bill Miller, Chief Information Officer at BCIU said, “I am extremely proud of our reputation for providing value-add services to our client school districts. It is a testament to the capabilities of the team, that school districts choose our services, as they are under no obligation or mandate to do so.” He added, “We believe that Infinite Campus is an outstanding partner for BCIU for three reasons:
- Infinite Campus has demonstrated stability over the last 24 years; maintaining one product, one owner, and relying on organic growth to become the second largest SIS provider in PA and the nation;
- Infinite Campus is committed to quality, both in the design of their products and the operational elements that ensure the effective delivery of services to their clients;
- Infinite Campus focuses on training and resources for the end-user.”
About the Berks County Intermediate Unit Although BCIU’s primary responsibilities focus on the delivery of services to the 18 school districts in Berks County, the IU has a history of innovation and entrepreneurship, positioning it as the choice provider of services to schools across the state. This is certainly the case when considering BCIU’s wrap- around services that are delivered as part of a third-party solution, or as part of a proprietary BCIU solution. The IU’s staff of applications specialists understand Pennsylvania, they understand the K-12 environment, and they are experts in blending this knowledge to provide the best possible service to district staff. www.berksiu.org
