Infinite Campus Receives a SOC 2 Examination Report
March 16, 2015 – Blaine, Minn. – Infinite Campus, the largest American-owned student information system provider, announced today that they have received a clean Service Organization Controls Report (SOC 2) Type I examination report from the accounting firm of Lurie Besikof Lapidus & Company, LLP. The firm completed the examination of the Infinite Campus Description of its Network Edge and Platform Hosting Services System as of January 31, 2015, and issued the SOC 2 on February 27, 2015. This report assesses that Infinite Campus controls, policies, and procedures meet the criteria for the security principle (applicable trust services principle).
As part of the examination, Infinite Campus underwent extensive auditing as well as various threat assessments to ensure that our clients’ physical and electronic information is preserved to the highest levels. The opinion in the report is meant to provide assurance to our clients that the description of our Network Edge and Platform Hosting Services System reflected in the SOC 2 Type 1 report was fairly presented, and the controls stated in the description were suitably designed to provide reasonable assurance that the criteria associated with the security criteria was met.
