Union Public Schools, Oklahoma, Selects Infinite Campus
June 3, 2014 – Blaine, Minn. – Union Public Schools, located in Tulsa, Okla., has selected Infinite Campus to support its more than 15,000 students. As the largest American-owned student information system (SIS) and a preferred vendor in Oklahoma, Union chose Infinite Campus for its corporate stability, innovative product functionality and award-winning support.
Union was looking for an SIS that included effective communication with parents, a robust scheduling tool, integrated teacher tools and real-time access to information. With more than 150 in-house developers, Infinite Campus can respond quickly to educational changes and district growth. A selection committee reviewed more than 40 systems. After an extensive review, Infinite Campus came out on top.
“We are excited to be a part of the commitment Union has made to modernize how they handle student data, improve efficiencies and increase technology effectiveness,” says Sean Forster, Infinite Campus Senior Sales Manager. “Union joins the growing number of districts in Oklahoma choosing Infinite Campus to provide the best systems to their staff, students, teachers and parents.”
In addition to the core SIS, Union maximized their investment by implementing Campus Online Registration. Online Registration gives parents the opportunity to add or update their student’s demographic, health, household information, phone numbers and more.
According to Todd Borland, Union Public Schools Executive Director of Technology, “Online Registration will not only save our parents’ time enrolling their children, it will allow our enrollment staff to focus on welcoming students into the district, making the entire process much more pleasant. Parents no longer need to wait in long lines while staff hand-enter information; the data is already in the system. Staff will only have to verify residency, making the entire process efficient and fluid.”
In addition to a comprehensive data management system, Union will receive the personalized service and support they want. “If you are looking for a long-term partnership with a company that is focused on students as much as the school district is, you need to consider Infinite Campus. You work together in a partnership to provide a comprehensive means to ensure student success,” says Borland.
Union expects to see immediate results on their go-live date of July 2014.
