August 13, 2014 – Blaine, Minn. – Infinite Campus announced that the South Dakota Department of Education (DOE) has renewed its contract through 2018. The renewal extends the subscription of the statewide student information system (SIS), Infinite Campus State Edition (ICSE), and the district-level SIS, Infinite Campus District Edition (ICDE).

The statewide implementation of Infinite Campus began spring 2002 with district adoption of ICDE being voluntary. Today, South Dakota DOE provides licensing for 148 public districts. All districts using ICDE eliminate the need to submit traditional state reporting as data from ICDE is available to the DOE in real time.

Covered in the agreement is the ability for South Dakota districts to purchase Infinite Campus Premium Products including Messenger with Voice, Food Service and most recently Online Payments and Online Registration. These products eliminate the need for third-party systems, reduce data entry, facilitate communications and help districts realize efficiencies due to the integration of Infinite Campus.
