Augusta County Public Schools Selects Infinite Campus for Return on Investment
Oct. 1, 2013 – Blaine, Minn. – In today’s ever-changing industry of K12 education, many school districts need technology to streamline business processes. Augusta County Public Schools, located in Verona, Va., chose Infinite Campus as its student information system (SIS) to fulfill this need. In addition, they will see a return on investment, acquire new functionality to eliminate third-party systems and reduce duplicate data entry. Augusta County plans to go live on August 1, 2014.
As a Virginia preferred vendor, Infinite Campus has established a solid
customer base in the state. Neighboring districts Campbell County and
Fauquier County also joined Infinite Campus in 2013.
Augusta County has 20 schools with approximately 10,600 students, so our selection process needed to be thorough,” says Frank Walters, Augusta SIS Manager. “We formed a committee comprised of a cross-section of our principals, counselors, teachers and central office staff. After careful consideration, Infinite Campus came out on top.”
Michael
Palmer, Infinite Campus Regional Sales Manager, understands the
advantages Augusta County will have with Infinite Campus. “We are
thrilled Augusta County is joining our growing family of customers in
Virginia,” says Palmer. “They will capitalize on reducing total cost of
ownership by using one, centralized SIS for all their needs.”
Augusta County maximized their investment by purchasing Campus Food
Service, Messenger with Voice and Online Registration. These optional
Premium Products work seamlessly with the Infinite Campus SIS.
“By including Campus Food Service and Messenger with Voice, we reduced
the choreography of data between disparate systems and can provide a
more efficient experience for students, parents and staff,” says
Walters. “Additionally, Online Registration will ease the form-filling
burden for parents.”
Infinite Campus is dedicated to continuous innovation. More than 130
in-house developers work to provide the most up-to-date SIS on the
market. Augusta will benefit from monthly enhancements at no additional
cost.
According to Walters, “Both as a product and a company, Infinite Campus
will help Augusta reach our goals by providing state-of-the-art tools
for data collection, processing and reporting. Infinite Campus’s forward
thinking approach will allow Augusta to stay current with the latest
technological advancements in data processing.”
