Infinite Campus Announces Schedule Wizard 5.0
March 28, 2012 – Blaine, Minn. – Infinite Campus announces new developments for Campus Scheduling. Campus Schedule Wizard 5.0 provides new course and staff planning tools, new auto-building tools, new auto-loading options, and new mass-update tools. Significant performance enhancements allow schedules to be built and loaded with unprecedented speed, enabling school schedulers and administrators to immediately compare scheduling numbers from previous years with multiple scenarios for the upcoming one to optimize resource utilization. This enhancement will be available in the E.1214 and 2013M.1214 release packs scheduled for release on April 4, 2012.
“Schedule Wizard 5.0 once again confirms our leadership position in K12 student information systems,” said Charlie Kratsch, Founder and CEO of Infinite Campus. “The speed, power, and flexibility of our auto-builder and auto-loader are nothing short of astonishing and will allow Campus districts to significantly streamline their scheduling-related business processes while providing students better schedules.”
Schedule Wizard 5.0 was designed from the ground-up to be an integral component of the Infinite Campus SIS, allowing the scheduler to seamlessly interact with the wealth of information in the Campus district-wide database without having to navigate away from the familiar but newly-enhanced “magic whiteboard” drag-and-drop GUI.
“We’ve worked hard to incorporate customer input, along with our own student-individualization strategic priorities, into Schedule Wizard 5.0,” said David Frankson, Software Architect and project leader. “I’m completely confident that once our schedulers try it, they won’t want to go back.”
Open Beta evaluators will be able to use both the current Schedule Wizard and the new Schedule Wizard 5.0, allowing them to compare results if they choose to do so.
“As it stands, Schedule Wizard 5.0 has been very thoroughly tested and has passed muster with our Beta customers,” said Jeff Galarneau, Chief Development Officer for Infinite Campus. “We are excited to provide an Open Beta opportunity to all customers, both as a way of obtaining additional feedback and for them to see how remarkable this enhancement is.”
Schedule Wizard 5.0 is another example of how Infinite Campus continues to provide the most advanced and comprehensive SIS to our subscribing customers, without extra charge.
