Infinite Campus Receives 2.3 SIF Agent Certification from SIFA
April 28, 2011 – Blaine, Minn . – Infinite Campus, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Infinite Campus 2012 release and higher is certified as a SIF 2.3 enabled application by the Schools Interoperability Framework Association (SIFA). As a certified product, Infinite Campus can automatically publish student information to other SIF compliant applications in a school district, regional consortium, or state agency.
“This certification assures our customers that our product conforms to the SIF 2.3 specification,” stated Andre Burgaud, Infinite Campus Manager of Infrastructure. “This specification aligned well with the current Infinite Campus data model.”
This certification includes race code alignment with NCES code sets, student contact scope updates, and various required data type changes. It will be included in the E.1122 continuous release.
Every Infinite Campus customer receives, at no additional cost, a SIF agent and embedded Zone Integration Server (ZIS). Known as the Campus Data Integration Server (DIS), these free tools can be used to populate a district’s third-party SIF compliant applications or seamlessly communicate with regional and state data systems.
The Campus Zone Integration Server (ZIS) has been renewed with no changes to its 2.0r1 certification. Infinite Campus was the first ZIS to be nationally certified at 2.0r1 by SIFA in March 2008.
