Infinite Campus IEP Forms Approved by the Ohio DOE
Nov. 15, 2011 – Blaine, Minn., - Infinite Campus is pleased to announce that its Individual Education Plan (IEP) forms meet the requirements set forth by the Ohio Department of Education (DOE.) The Ohio DOE has approved the Infinite Campus IEP forms and determined them to be in compliance for documenting special education data according to the Ohio DOE’s specifications.
Maureen Kovach of Perry Local School District assisted with the certification process in cooperation with the Ohio DOE. The district is located about thirty minutes east of Cleveland, and serves approximately 1,900 students from Perry Village, Perry Township and North Perry Village.
The Infinite Campus special education development team has dedicated a senior software product analyst (SPA) to the task of keeping abreast of any and all changes to the current IEP forms and reporting processes in Ohio. As business processes and reporting mechanisms evolve over time in Ohio, the SPA’s mission will be to remain proactive in ensuring changes in Ohio special education data collection and reporting are reflected in enhancements to the Infinite Campus special education offering.
The Ohio DOE approval of Infinite Campus IEP forms means Ohio districts can now save time, money, and effort by replacing legacy third party IEP programs. Districts that adopt Campus IEP forms will see the many benefits that come from integration with the Infinite Campus application as a whole. These benefits include expanded visibility of IEP data for all approved stakeholders across the district, including parents and guardians. The district-wide, centralized Infinite Campus database spans both school and academic year boundaries, and so allows a child’s IEP data to be effortlessly carried forward and evolving throughout their school career.
