May 16, 2011 – Blaine, Minn. – Cortland Enlarged City School District (CECSD) in New York, serving 2,795 students, has selected Infinite Campus as their district-wide student information system (SIS). CECSD implemented the Infinite Campus District Edition in December 2010. Infinite Campus is a comprehensive, fully-integrated, Web-based system that will improve data management and drive informed decisions.

CECSD’s legacy system had silos of data at each school and did not allow for data analysis. It was difficult to extract the data from the system. It was not Web-based and product updates were slow.

“We researched all available systems and narrowed it down to three vendors,” said Denise Fox, CECSD’s Information Systems Administrator. “We found everything we were looking for in Infinite Campus. The robust reporting tools, the large knowledge base, the integration and Web-based capabilities were what we needed. A network of users and company support staff who understands how important it is to use student data to make wise management systems also influenced our decision.”

CECSD’s implementation, conversion and training were handled by Custom Computer Specialists (Custom), the Infinite Campus Channel Partner in New York. “From the project manager to the trainers, the staff at Custom has been a joy to work with.
